The number of retired Connecticut state government workers with pensions over $100,000 has more than doubled in the past two years, the Yankee Institute reports.

There were 378 state retirees with six-figure pensions last year, up from 175 in 2008, the Institute said. The number includes two dozen retired employees with pensions exceeding the governor's $150,000 salary.

For details, see the pension data at Yankee Institute's CTSunlight website.
